Major reshuffle in senior IPS cadre

Fresh posting orders issued to 11 Superintendent of Police level officials and two DIG-level officials as well


Affecting a major reshuffle in the Indian Police Service cadre on the commencement of election year, State Government on Tuesday changed the Police Superintendents of as many as 15 districts. Amresh Mishra, a 2005 batch Indian Police Service officer, who has already been empanelled for central deputation in Central Bureau of Investigation, has been appointed as Raipur Superintendent of Police.


The incumbent Raipur SP Sanjeev Shukla, also a 2005 batch IPS officer, has been posted as Durg Superintendent of Police.
Bastar Superintendent of Police Arif Sheikh, who had shot to international fame for effective policing has been rewarded and posted as Bilaspur Superintendent of Police.


According to the order issued by the state government, Mayank Shrivastava, IPS-2006, presently posted as Bilaspur SP has been posted as Korba SP; Deepak Jha, IPS-2007, presently posted as Balod SP has been posted as Raigarh SP; Jitendra Singh Meena, IPS-2007, presently posted as Gariaband SP has been posted in Police Head Quarters as AIG Technical Services and Traffic; Parul Mathur, IPS-2008, presently posted as SP Rail Raipur has been posted as SP Mungeli; Neethu Kamal, IPS-2008, presently posted as SP Mungeli has been posted as SP Janjgir-Champa.


Similarly, D Shravan, IPS-2008, presently posted as SP Korba has been posted as SP Bastar (Jagdalpur); Milna Kurre, IPS-2008, presently posted as Commandant 13th Battalion CAF Bango Korba has been posted as SP Rail Raipur; Sadanand Kumar, IPS-2010, presently posted as SP
Police Academy Chandkhuri, Raipur has been posted as SP Surguja; I K Alesela IPS-2011, presently posted as SP SIB PHQ has been posted as SP Balod; Santosh Kumar Singh, IPS-2011, presently posted as SP Narainpur has been posted as SP Mahasamund; Jitendra Shukla, IPS-2013, presently posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police Sukma has been posted as SP Narainpur; and Mohit Garg, IPS-2013, presently posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police Bijapur has been appointed as SP Gariaband. Similarly, D R Anchala, SPS-1995, presently posted as SP Balrampur has been posted as SP Surajpur and T R Kosima, SPS-1995, presently posted as Commandant 6th Battalion CAF Raigarh has been posted as SP Balrampur.


The State Government also issued fresh posting orders of 11 Superintendent of Police level officials who were promoted to the post of Deputy Inspector General. The State Government also issued fresh posting orders to two DIG level officials as well.


According to the order issued by State Government Anand Chabra, IPS-2001, presently posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Anti Naxal Operations) PHQ has been issued fresh posting as DIG SIB in PHQ. Similarly, T R Paikra, IPS-2003, presently posted as DIG (AJAK) PHQ has been posted as DIG (STF), Bhilai.


The state government on Tuesdays gave fresh posting orders to newly promoted officers. Accordingly, Neha Champawat, IPS-2004, presently posted as SP Mahasamund has been posted as DIG CAF Surguja; Abhishek Pathak, IPS-2004, presently posted as AIG (Adminstration) PHQ has been posted as DIG (Administration), PHQ; Ajay Kumar Yadav, IPS-2004, presently posted as SP Janjgir-Champa has been posted as DIG (Security) PHQ; Badrinarayan Meena, IPS-2004, presently posted as SP Raigarh has been posted as DIG (Planning/Telecommunication) PHQ; D L Manhar, IPS-2004, presently posted as Commandant 7th Battalion CAF Bhilai has been posted DIG (CAF) Centre PHQ; R S Nayak, IPS-2004, presently posted as SP Surguja has been posted as DIG (Welfare & Accounts) PHQ.


Similarly, G S Darro, IPS-2004, Director (Training) SDRF has been posted as DIG (SDRF & Fire Brigade) Home Guard HQs; S C Dwivedi, IPS-2004, presently posted as AIG (Special Branch) PHQ has been posted as DIG (Special Branch) PHQ; J S Watti, IPS-2004, presently posted as Commandant, 5th Battalion, CAF, Jagdalpur has been posted as DIG, Counter Terrorism and Jungle Warfare College, Kanker; and R P Sai, IPS-2004, presently posted as
