Crime scene appeared to be somewhere else considering bleeding traces at the spot says police

Police recovered the body of a youth with several stabbing marks from the bushes located near Government Railway Police Post (GRP) Police Post in Charoda, Bhiali-3 on Wednesday morning. In an attempt to hide identity of the victim and thereby evading their arrest in connection with brutal killing, unidentified assailants also stabbed repeatedly on victim’s face prior to fleeing the spot.
The police are fast investigating all minute details recorded during spot inspection to track down the culprits behind heinous offence.

Police sources informed that the deceased was identified as Rajkumar Sen, the owner of hair cutting saloon in Sundar Nagar, Raipur. The victim’s brother Lalit Sen confirmed the identity. At about 7:30 am on Wednesday, after information the Bhilai-3 Police team rushed to the spot and recovered the body of Rajkumar Sen from the bushes located about 150 meters away from GRP Police Post in Charoda, Bhilai-3. There were several fatal stabbing marks on chest, stomach, hands and face of the body and the death might have been occurred due to profuse bleeding. During the search of victim’s clothes the police team did not recover anything leading to his identity but in the late development the police establish identity of the victim.

SP Amresh Mishra inspected the spot and directed the police officials and personnel regarding line of investigation into the brutal killing. Bhilai-3 police team took the body into custody and preserved the same in the mortuary of District Hospital Durg after preparing an inquest of the incident. The police recorded the unnatural death and launched intensive investigation into the heinous offence.
During spot inspection the police recorded all minute details possibly to track down the culprits behind the heinous offence. The police said that the victim youth was presumably stabbed to death somewhere else and afterwards his body was dumped into bushes by the Service Road of the highway.

The police also found traces of bleeding by main carriage way of the highway.
Ajeet Yadav, CSP, Chhaoni Police Sub-division informed that after spot investigation it appeared that the victim was killed elsewhere and afterwards his body was dumped at the place in Charoda, Bhilai-3 as the bleeding at the place was comparatively less in respect of grievous fatal injuries inflicted upon him. On basis of modus operandi it could also be presumed that unidentified assailants might have been from other places as the body was found dumped at the place at walking distance from the police post.
