Three planning burglary arrested

Hanumanganj police have nabbed three miscreant planning burglary at a dairy house and recovered sharp-edged weapons from their possession near Irani Dera ground late in the night on Tuesday. Police said that after receiving information, a police team was rushed to the spot and nabbed three miscreants from the spot. The three were identified as Deepak Kushwaha (19) of Bajaria, Musheem Miyan (20) of Gandhi Nagar and Abid Chikna Barati (27).


The police have registered a case under Section 401 of the IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act.
A sharp-edged weapon was recovered from Musheem, an iron rod was recovered from Abid and a torch was recovered from Deepak.


During the investigation police found that the three have past criminal record and have been booked for several serious offences and are habitual criminal.


Meanwhile, Koh-e-Fiza police have nabbed two bookies accepting bets on test cricket match at Indra Vihar Colony on Tuesday; a laptop, one TV set, 7 mobile phones and Rs 16,000 were recovered from the gamblers. Acting on a tip off regarding two persons accepting bets on ongoing test cricket match between India and South Africa. The two were identified as Ankush Chelani (38) and Dewan Manghani (42).

The accused were using seven mobile phones for accepting and placing the bets which have been recovered and during the investigation the contact details would be searched to reveal those involved in placing bets.After preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case under Section 4 of the Gambling Act and started further investigation.
