26th edition of CompEx-2018 begins at St Ursula school ground

FINALLY Nagpur gets plugged-in to VCMDWA’s 26th edition of CompEx-2018. Rajesh Saboo, President of VCMDWA inaugurated the event by lighting the traditional lamp on Thursday.


Vinay Dhamadhikari, Vice-President, Dinesh Naidu, Secretary, Prashant Bulbule, Treasurer, Ranjit Umathe, Joint Secretary and Executive Body Members Sanjay Chourasia and Nikhil Gandhi were among the prominent persons present on the occasion.


The event, in its new venue at St Ursula Girls’ High School, opposite Old VCA Stadium, Civil Lines, Nagpur, has matched all the arrangements as comprehensive as possible with proper layout plan for domes housing stall and pavilions, huge parking bays and cafeteria.


Visitors can move freely in the aisles and can have access and interaction with stall people to know about various products on display regarding the services, features and working of the latest technology based products.


A special Comp-Ex directory prepared by IT Media Partner ‘Click IT News’ Marketing was unveiled by the dignitaries. The specially designed booklet has all the information about Comp-Ex 2018 such as exhibitors list, products and technologies showcased and also general information about the latest in technologies. The directory will be given to visitors free of cost.


To bring about awareness towards recycling of e-waste, people depositing e-waste would be eligible to free entry at CompEx. The centre of attraction will be a museum depicting the evolution and history of the first computers, storage devices, motherboard, monitors, floppy disks etc., on display for the visitors. The media partner of Compex-26 2018 is The Hitavada and radio partner is Big FM.
The timing of the five days event, starts from 12 noon to 9 pm every day. The event will conclude on January 15.
On the first day of the computer exhibition people in large numbers were present.
