CM to welcome ‘Ekatma Yatra’ in Bhopal today, says MLA Singh

Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) District President and MLA Surendranath Singh held a meeting and reviewed the preparations for Ekatma Yatra at BJP state headquarters, Pt Deendayal Parisar in the State capital on Thursday.


Surendranath Singh, addressing on the occasion, said that State Government, keeping in view the public awareness about the contribution of Adi Guru Shankaracharya, is taking out Ekatms Yatra from four places of the State for metal collection to establish statue of Shankaracharya at Omkareshwar. Singh said, Ekatma Yatra started on December 19, which will reach Omkareshwar via 51 districts. Ekatma Yatra taken out from Pachmatha, Rewa will reach 13 districts. Surendranath Singh said that Ekatms Yatra will enter Bhopal district from Karond Chouraha on Friday at 5 pm and will be welcomed warmly.

Yatra will also be welcomed at Best Price, Bhopal Memorial Hospital, 80 ft Road Brij, Mandi, DIG Bungalow, Sindhi Colony, Bhopal Talkies, Bhawani Chowk, Kamla Park, Polytechnic Square, Banganga Square. He said that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, ministers, MP, MLAs will welcome Ekatma Yatra near Hotel Palash Residency.

Yatra will be taken out at different places in the city on January 13 and Kalash Yatra will be taken out in all wards, which will include main yatra at Ambedkar Swarn Jayanti Park, Second Stop at 10 am. MLA Surendranath informed that social, cultural and voluntary organisations will participate in the yatra. Senior BJP leaders, including Ramdayal Prajapati, Shyam Mohan Shrivastava, BMC chairman Surjeet Singh Chouhan, Chetan Singh, Anil Agrawal, Vikas Virani, Ashok Saini, Satish Vishwakarma, R K Baghel, Sumit Choudhary and state and district executives were present.
