Sunny day provides relief from biting cold in Bhopal

Minimum temperatures are still below normal level in most parts of the state. Owing to this reason, cold continue to pinch the skin of people. Bhopal’s minimum temperature settled at 8.4 degree Celsius, 3 degrees below normal.
Jabalpur shivered at 7.6 degree Celsius, 3 degrees below normal level. Khajuraho recorded minimum temperature at 6.4 degree Celsius, 3 degrees below normal level. Indore was at comfortable level as its minimum temperature was 10.5 degree Celsius, 1 degrees above normal level.

Weather department said minimum temperatures increased substantially in Shahdol division. However, minimum temperature remained below normal level in Rewa, Shahdol, Hoshangabad, Bhopal and Sagar divisions.
The lowest minimum temperature of 5 degrees Celsius was recorded at many places including Rewa, Umaria, Mandla, Naugoan, Raisen and Gwalior respectively.

The forecast made by weather department said that fog is likely at some places of Rewa, Shahdol, Sagar, Hoshangabad and Bhopal divisions. Bhopal will witness clear sky and dry weather. Minimum temperature will be around 9 degrees Celsius. The weather will remain same for next two days.
The good thing is this that there is no warning of cold wave and frost. In last couples of days, weather conditions were extremely cold and almost on daily basis, warning of cold wave were coming.

The temperatures took the nose dive following arrival of strong cold winds from Kashmir valley.
However, now no more cold condition warning is coming.
As cold conditions have become weaker in comparison to bitter cold conditions that existed few days back, people are having little bit easy time.
In the meantime, cold is also leading to rise in seasonal diseases. People are falling sick to common cold and hospitals are witnessing long queues of such patients. In the meantime,
warm cloth sellers continue to do brisk business.
