‘Dependents of Koradi’s PAPs should avail benefit of training by MahaGenco’

Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule appealed to dependents of Koradi's project-affected persons (PAPs) to dutifully learn the hands on training being provided by MahaGenco to ITI passed candidates as it could help them during the recruitment of Technician-III. Five year from now the direct recruitment process could start and that time those who underwent training would get 25 marks that would add to total tally. He inaugurated the training course at Koradi on Friday.

The persons of Koradi area whose land was acquired for Koradi Thermal Power Project are being provided technical training under Skill Development programme. Bawankule further said that since people of the area have elected him, hence he has brought this training programme here thinking about the future job prospects of the youth.

Apart from the bookish knowledge, the future employable youth would required to have knowledge about handling the equipments in live condition and hence the youth selected for training should not waste this golden opportunity to enhance their knowledge base, stated Chief Engineer Abhay Harne who presided at the programme.

Executive Director (Human Resource) Vinod Bondre, Chief Engineer Rajkumar Taskar, Sunil Asamwar, Rajesh Patil, President of Mahadula Nagar Panchayat Seema Jaiswal, Vice-President Rajesh Rangari, Koradi's Sarpanch Archana Maind, Deputy Sarpanch Archana Diwane, and Technical Assistant to Energy Minister Shekhar Amin were prominently present on
the occasion.

At the outset, Chief Engineer Sunil Asamwar provided information about the MahaGenco Skill Development Centre and future planning while CE Vinod Bondre provided detailed information about training programme for ITI passed candidates.The programme was conducted by Additional Executive Engineer Milind Rahatgaokar while Deputy General Manager Sanket Shinde proposed a vote of thanks.
