Orientation workshop for police officials begins

INFORMATION of facilities provided by Micro Finance Companies and Non-Banking Financial Companies were given to officials of companies at the inauguration of two-day orientation programme for police officials of Bhopal range regarding micro finance companies, non-banking financial companies and cyber-crimes and banking frauds on Tuesday.
Inspector General (Bhopal Urban) Jay Deep Prasad and Bhopal DIG Dharmendra Choudhary discussed the facilities and loan provided by Micro Finance Companies and Non-Banking Financial Companies and regarding security measures to save from cyber-crimes and bank frauds. Additional Director General Cyber Crime Purshottam Sharma explained in details the cyber-crime and banking fraud in era of digitalisation and shared important tips to avert cyber-crimes and banking frauds.

The angles and important points which have to be checked during the investigation of these crimes by the investigating officials were shared by ADG Sharma.
To develop better understanding regarding the increasing number of cyber-crimes and banking fraud, examples of cyber-crime and banking fraud in detail were discussed by ADG Sharma.

He said that the online cheating and bank fraud are increasing rapidly and in case if the victim reports the fraud with the concerned bank within three days of the incident the bank or the company holds responsibility of returning the complete money duped from the victim.
At the occasion SP HQ Rajesh Chandel, ASP Mahendra Jain, ASP Shalini Jain and other officials were present.
The officials of Micro Finance Companies and Non-Banking Financial Companies discussed facilities and other issues faced in the sector.
