Two men and three women were injured in a group clash over an old rivalry in Badi Madar Tekri area under the jurisdiction of Hanumantal police station in the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.


According to Hanumantal police, a man named Satish Choudhary (27), a resident of Badi Madar Tekri, Shankar Chowk lodged a complaint that late night on Tuesday, Devi Choudhary, Rajesh Choudhary and Lalva Choudhary forcefully entered his house and started abusing his younger brother Mukesh. When objected, the miscreants attacked him and his nephew with sharp-edged weapons and canes. In the attack, Satish Choudhary and his nephew sustained critical injuries. On the other hand, Ramdulari Choudhary (50), a resident of
Cherital, lodged a complaint that she reached at residence of her daughter Mango Bai living in Badi Madar Tekri where Sanju Choudhary, Bucchi Lal and two others keeping knives and canes in their hands entered the house and attacked them over an old rivalry.

In the attack, Ramdulari, her daughter Mango Bai and daughter-in-law, Rupa Bai sustained injuries.
Learning about the incident, a police team reached the spot and rushed the injured to Victoria Hospital. Acting on both the complaints, Hanumantal police have registered a counter case under sections 452, 294, 323, 324, 506 and 34 of the IPC, while further investigations are underway to arrest the accused.
