Mobile shop burgled

Unidentified persons broke into a mobile shop and took away mobile handsets and cash amounting to Rs 60,000 from the shop in Medical College and under the jurisdiction of Garha police station in the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.


According to Garha police, a man named Sagar Peshwani (24), a resident of Bargi Hills, lodged a complaint that he is operating a shop named Anand Mobile Shop situated in front of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital. He closed the shop on Tuesday night and returned home. He reached to open the shop on Wednesday morning and found that an unidentified person had broke into the shop by breaking steel sheet from backside and took away 31 mobile handsets, accessories amounting to Rs 40,000 and cash of Rs 20,000 from the shop.


Acting on the complaint, Garha police have registered a case under sections 457 and 380 of the IP C, while further investigations are underway to identify and apprehend the accused.
