Now, Smart Classroom in JMC schools

Another step initiated in way of Digital India under Smart City Company Limited by virtue of JMC Mayor Dr Swati Godbole. The students studying in JMC-managed schools are likely to get benefit of Smart Classroom. Under the ambitious project taken up under the Smart City concept, stage is all set to start with smart classes in five schools run by the JMC.

According to information, in view of efforts initiated by JMC Mayor Dr Swati Godbole, students studying in JMC-run schools would have the benefit of studying in smart classes. Reportedly, work in this connection has gathered momentum to have smart classes in five JMC schools. With the decision, students of JMC-run schools would go high-tech in pursuing their studies. Under the ambitious project, five JMC schools would have smart classes. Under the first phase of construction of smart classes, work has been started at Laxminarayan Yadav School, Ranjhi. Students of Ranjhi school would soon have access to virtual class studios besides digital classroom, digital laboratory and digital library.

Vedprakash, Executive Director, Smart City Company Limited informed that move is being initiated under the Digital India concept of Government of India. He said, Jabalpur becomes the first city among smart cities to start e-education.
Mayor Dr Swati Godbole carried out inspection of ongoing construction of smart classes at Laxminarayan Yadav School, Ranjhi. In course of inspection carried out, she said, the project being taken up would immensely benefit students from the city, who would obtain high-tech education.

She said, at present, the digital classroom facility would get started in five JMC-run schools as this happens to be a major step for the Digital India concept as Jabalpur becomes the first to start e-education among other smart cities across the country.

In the course of inspection carried out, Mayor Dr Godbole was accompanied by Durga Devi Upadhyay, Incharge Education, Veena Varghese, Education Officer, office bearers of Smart City, namely Abhishek Kumar, Rakesh Shukla, Vikram Pandey, Mohan Giri, Sunil Giri and Dr Shailendra Pandey, teacher at Ranjhi school.
