Jaripatka police nab youth, seize deer skin

JARIPATKA Police on Thursday nabbed a youth and seized a deer skin from his possession. The accused, Aman Devendra Janbandhu (25) is a resident of Ved Nagar, Nara Road.


A team of Jaripatka Police comprising PSI S B Chappe, HC Gajendra Singh, HC Bandu Kalambe, NPC Ganesh Barde, NPC Roshan Tiwari and PC Vishal Nagbhide got information that Aman Janbandhu was carrying a bag containing deer skin. The team laid a trap near the Nara Ghat gate around 12 noon. Cops nabbed him and found a deer skin in his cloth bag. When policemen quizzed him, he tried to mislead them.


Cops then informed Range Forest Officer (Seminary Hills) Vijay Gangawane about the seizure.
Soon Round Officer Ramesh Admane, Forest Guard Jagmakar Ukey and others arrived and took custody of accused Janbandhu. Forest officers also took the possession of the deer skin seized by police for further investigation.
