STF arrests 3 criminals wanted in 2016 murder case from Raipur

A TEAM of Special Task Force (STF) Jabalpur succeeded in apprehending three murder accused after two years of the incident reported in Betul from Sadani Bazar in Raipur. Superintendent of Police, Betul, had declared a cash reward of Rs 45,000 for arresting the accused. The accused have been identified as Dabbu Mishra alias Anurag Mishra, son of Devidas Mishra, a resident of Marathi Mohalla in Betul, his brother Manoj Mishra and Biddu alias Nihar Singh, son of Devendra Sarsode, a resident of Marathi Mohalla in Betul.

STF, Inspector, Hariom Dixit informed that Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh, had directed Betul police to arrest the accused in murder case of Anurag Tiwari reported in 2016. Betul police had registered a case against the accused under Sections 302, 120B and 34 of the IPC and Sections 25, 27 of the Arms Act.

Taking a serious note into the case, Additional Director General of Police, STF, constituted a team under supervision
of DSP Dishesh Agrawal comprising Inspector Hariom Dixit, SI Aditya Sharma, Constable Nirmal Patel, Constable Jitendra Patel, Constable Ashish Mishra and Constable Saurabh Mishra. Continuing a rigorous search, STF team received information about absconding criminals. Acting promptly on the information, STF personnel started a search and arrested the three accused in Raipur. The accused have been handed over to Betul police for further investigations into the case.
