7,159 farmers benefit under Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana

RURAL Development Minister, Gopal Bhargava distributed cheques to farmers under Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana at Krishi Upaj Mandi, Karond, on Saturday.
Mandi secretary Vinay Prakash Pateriya informed that second phase of the programme under Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana was organised according to wish of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan under direction of Managing Director Faiz Ahmed Kidwai at Karond Mandi, where the farmers were given cheques under welfare scheme ‘Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana’.

Earlier, Mandi Chairperson Shyam Bhagirath Patidar, farmer member Bhagirath Patidar, Ashok Meena, Bhagwan Singh, Jwala Prasad Ahirwar, Indra Meena, trader member Haji Abdul Raqeeb, Bhopal Cooperative Bank former chairman Jeewan Singh Maithil, Janpad panchayat’s Avinash Bhargava welcomed guests and chief guest on the occasion. District collector Dr Sudam Khade highlighted the process of second phase Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana and later on Zila Panchayat Chairman Manmohan Nagar informed farmers about the welfare scheme in interest of farmers. Message of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was also telecast at 2 pm in which Chouhan was addressing a Kisan Sammelan at Prithvipura in Tikamgarh district. Notably, Kisan Sammelan was organised within two days, in which around 2,000 farmers and others participated. As many as 7,159 farmers belonging to Bhopal district have been given online payment worth of Rs 7,19,31,916 under Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana.
