Kewal Mishra said that, people should not throw garbage on the streets and around in public places. They should use dustbins provided by the corporation, so that cleanliness can be maintained in the city. He also appealed the shopkeepers, auto drivers, and employees at ISBT to throw garbage at the designated spot and to stop people from littering the garbage around at various places

Cleanliness campaign was organised on Monday, January 8 at ISBT under the guidance and directions of Director of Bhopal City Link Limited, Kewal Mishra. Under the cleanliness campaign Kewal Mishra along with other workers of the municipal corporation cleaned the place with water pipes and brooms. They cleaned the spitting done by people on walls and other places. Dustbins were also placed inside buses and drivers and conductors were given the badges of cleanliness survey. Commuters were also appealed to use dustbins and to maintain cleanliness inside the buses.
It is to be noted that, BCLL has now introduced dustbins inside buses to mitigate the problem of littering inside buses and on roads.

Usually, commuters litter garbage in buses and throw waste food material and wrappers inside the bus. This not only creates problem for other commuters but also resulted in foul stench inside the bus. “The introduction of dustbins will help BCLL to mitigate with this problem. This is also a step taken in the line of ensuring Bhopal’s name on top in the cleanliness survey of the year 2018. In the cleanliness campaign we sensitised employees and commuters to maintain cleanliness in and outside the buses,” said Kewal Mishra.
