CM, Uma Bharti dedicate Niwadi distt

CHIEF Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated new Niwadi district during Jan Ashirwad Yatra on Sunday. Niwadi district has been formed out of Tikamgarh. Prathvipur and Orcha are the main cities. On the occasion, Union Minister Uma Bharti, BJP National Vice-President Prabhat Jha, Union Minister Veerendra Kumar Khatik, CM’s wife Sadhna Singh and other BJP leaders were present. Jan Ashirwad Yatra covered regions of Sagar, Tikamgarh and Chhatarpur districts on Sunday. After CM declaring Niwadi as new district of State, Uma Bharti told that since last 40 years Niwadi people were waiting for Niwadi district and now CM Chouhan has fulfilled the promise of Niwadi as new district.

Showering praise on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Uma Bharti said that the CM has always treated her with respect and hence on his call, she reached Niwadi district immediately.

Welcoming formation of Niwadi district, Uma Bharti told that she is going to support Shivraj Singh Chouhan and is ready to serve anywhere whether it is booth-level work or work of counting tables during Assembly elections.

After addressing public meeting in Naryavli, the CM reached Niwadi and declared Niwadi as 52nd district of State. Addressing people, CM Chouhan told that there was a time when it seemed that it was difficult to remove Congress from power and to fight against political tactics of Digvijay Singh. However, Uma Bharti came forward and BJP got maximum Assembly seats in 2003. It was Uma Bharti who laid the foundation stone to oust Congress.

The CM said that after getting separated from Tikamgarh to form a part of new Niwadi district, no stone will be left unturned for development of Prithvipur and Orcha. CM also introduced new SP and Collector to people. He told that shortly work will be started for Sujara dam to resolve water woes in Tikamgarh. He added that as of now, irrigation facility is in 40 lakh hectare in State and shortly it will be taken to 80 lakh hectares. CM Chouhan also sanctioned Nal Jal Scheme of Rs 173 crore for Niwadi district. Niwadi people will receive tap water in their homes.
