CM’s Jankalyan Yojana Prakoshta members see off Dwarikapuri pilgrims

Prakoshta members and BJP leaders presented shreephal and garlands to the elderly people and prayed for their safe journey

Office-bearers and members of Bharatiya Janata Party Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Yojana Prakoshta along with senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, on Sunday see off the pilgrims who on board special train to Dwarikapuri pilgrimage at Jabalpur Railway Station. Prakoshta members and BJP leaders presented shreephal and garlands to the elderly people and prayed for their safe journey.


City Convener of the Prakoshta, Amar Mishra informed that State Government is executing a number of welfare schemes for people of every section of the society. Likewise, the State Government, on the direction of Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made Mukhyamantri Teertha Darshan Yojana for people over 60 years of age.


Under the scheme, the elderly people have been given rail tickets free of cost for pilgrimage. During the journey elderly people have also been provided with lodging facility, meal, local transport and guard. The State Government bears all the expenses of the journey.
Mishra said the Prakoshta members have been welcoming the pilgrimages for the last one year. He said under the scheme, a special train to Dwarikapuri was started from Jabalpur Railway Station, on Sunday. Total 242 pilgrims on board the special train from the Railway Station.


Amongst those present on the occasion were Mayor Dr Swati Godbole, Hemant Sahu, Ganesh Sondhiya, Amit Saini, Pramod Ben, Sanjay Gupta, Atul Tomar, Vibha Upadhyay, Pradeep Patel, Rakesh Shripal, Ashish Gautam, Jahid Ansari, Anand Pandey, Vaibhav Chourasia, Rahul Puri Goswami, Rahul Bari, Vijay Thakur and others.
