Rotary Club of Jabalpur organises cleanliness campaign rally

With the aim to make the city no. 1 in cleanliness, Rotary Club of Jabalpur organised a cleanliness campaign rally and made the masses aware about sanitation and cleanliness. Rally was taken out under the leadership of Mayor Dr Swati Godbole.


The rally began from Sai Baba Temple, Civil Lines and ended at Delight Compound. In this, more than 300 citizens, including local residents, Hamara Jabalpur, Corporator Kamlesh Agrawal, school students and club members marked their presence and vowed to maintain cleanliness in their nearby areas.


Prior to the end of the rally, Rachna Sansthan group staged a street play and gave message of cleanliness.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Dr Godbole said that, a healthy life starts when a person starts maintaining cleanliness in his house. This small effort of every citizen of city would help the country to grow and lead to development of nation. She further gave greetings to Hamara Jabalpur President, Kamlesh Gupta, Rotary Club of Jabalpur President, Rachna Trivedi, Corporator Kamlesh Agrawal for rendering support in cleanliness campaign rally.


Club members present on the occasion were Kavita Richhariya, N K Shrivastava, Baldeep Maini, Mahendra Pahawa, Mohit Chatterjee, Puneet Honda, Shishir Khampariya and others.
