Sahitya Academy, RDU hold Dwitya Sopan of lecture

Sahitya Academy, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal and Rani Durgavati University jointly organised the Dwitya Sopan of lecture on ‘Maharishi Jabali’ at Pandit Kunjilal Dubey auditorium on Tuesday.  The programme was inaugurated with lighting of ceremonial lamp and worship of Goddess Saraswati amidst chanting of hymns. Director, Sahitya Academy, Dr Umesh Singh, while expressing his opinion on ‘Rishi Chetana’, underlined it’s relevance in present scenario.

Professor Harimohan Budhoulia, former Acharya and Head of Department, Ujjain focused on Maharishi Jabali’s contribution in Sanskrit literature and it’s significance.
Professor Rameshchandra Panda, Vice Chancellor Maharishi Panini Sanskrit University, Ujjain elaborating about the personality and contribution of Maharishi Jabali, informed that he established Jabalipuram town, which is now popular as Jabalpur city.  Bramhachari Swami Chaitanyanand Maharaj, Baglamukhi Peeth said that serving humanity is the basic element of Rishi Parampara.

Vice Chancellor, RDVV, Professor Mishra mentioned about prosperity of Gur-Shishya Parampara in ancient India and emphasized over the need to re-create the essence of Rishi Parampara to re-establish the mantra of ‘Vasudev Kutumbkam’ so that India once again rules the world as ‘Vishwaguru’.

The newly-appointed Lokpal, Justice Bhagchand Mallaiya, while chalking out the role of Rishi Parampara in judicial arena, appreciated the efforts of organising committee for organising such a meaningful programme to show positive direction to the youngsters. Dean Faculty, Social Science, Professor Shailesh Kumar Choubey and seminar co-ordinator, Dr Alkesh Chaturvedi were also present on the dais.
Dr Anand Singh Rana conducted the programme, while Registrar, Professor Rakesh Bajpai proposed vote of thanks.
