Accuses Govt of ignoring saints, not doing enough to stop illegal mining in Narmada

State Government received massive jolt as Minister of State, Computer Baba resigned on Monday. Computer Baba put down his papers as he was upset with cold attitude of Government towards saints. He also accused Government of doing nothing to stop illegal mining in river Narmada and working against ‘Dharma’. Computer Baba told mediapersons that he was peeved over the manner Government is ignoring saints and sages. Coming down heavily on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, he said “I felt that CM is not ready to hear saints and have meeting with saints.” Vouching for Narmada Mantralay, he claimed that many times, he tried to attract the attention of Chief Minister towards illegal mining in Narmada and demanded ban on it, but in vain. He added that he was also upset with the pathetic condition of cows in State.
Moreover, he told that despite being in Government, he was unable to do the works of sages.

He told that he had resigned under the pressure of saints. In resignation letter sent to CM, Computer Baba told that despite many attempts, he failed to convince Government on issues pertaining to temple conservation, cow, river Narmada conservation and hence under huge pressure of saints, he is resigning.

The resignation of Computer Baba comes after a day of CM’s announcement to form Gau Mantralaya.
The step taken by Computer Baba has given new ammunition to Congress. It has demanded that Government should come clean on the allegations levelled by Computer Baba. Notably, it was six months back that Computer Baba was picked up by Government as Minister of State. At that time he was questioning the plantation drive done during Narmada Yatra.
