SIT arrests man associated with highway killers’ gang

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case of serial killer Adesh Khambra, who confessed to killing as many as 34 truck drivers and cleaners, has now started getting important clues after the arrest of Saheb Singh, who is the key player in murderous highway robbers’ gang and he had played an important role in disposing of booty and trucks.

According to Superintendent of Police (South) Rahul Lodha, SIT has arrested one more accused Sunil (38) from Gwalior in the case who is involved in purchasing two sacks of sugar which was looted from a truck and a case was registered in Misrod Police Station. Cops are grilling Saheb Singh to know more clues about the robbed booty and sent a team to recover it. Police had brought Saheb on production remand from Ghazipur and took 10 days police remand for interrogation. During the first 10 days of remand Saheb helped cops to recover stolen goods which were robbed in the most recent incident of Misrod locality.

SP Lodha said they have taken remand till October 24 to recover more stolen goods. However, other accused such as Billa alias Paramjeet Singh, Adesh Khambra, prime accused who confessed 34 murders are sent to jail by court. Following the information provided by Saheb Singh, SIT sent team to various places to recover booty. Police sources said that the team got success and very soon cops will announce that how much goods they have recovered. It would be easier for cops to establish charges against Adesh in court if they able to recover goods and arrest buyer of looted goods
