CONCLUDING Jan Ashirwad Yatra at BT Crossing in West Assembly, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday extended gratitude towards residents of Sanskardhani. He also extended gratitude towards people of Jabalpur for showering blessings on him and showing great affection during the Yatra. As the Chief Minister reached BT Crossing after 10 pm, he could not address public meeting due to enforcement of code of conduct. Chouhan stepped down of the Rath (chariot) along with State BJP President Rakesh Singh and went to his supporters who thronged the crossing to welcome him. He expressed gratitude to the masses with folded hands.

Later, in a brief interaction with the media, Chief Minister Chouhan said he feels humbled and overwhelmed with the grand welcome accorded by people of Sanskardhani. The Chief Minister reached the crossing at 10.15 pm. People showered petals at him. Joyful after receiving people’s welcome and blessings, the Chief Minister waved at public. He stepped down the chariot and came amongst people. But, the CM didn’t step up the welcome stage erected to welcome him. After meeting people, he left for the airport.

A number of senior party leaders, workers and citizens had gathered at BT Crossing to welcome the Chief Minister. The CM was accompanied by State President Rakesh Singh, Minister of State Sharad Jain, Mayor Dr Swati Godbole and others.
