Staff Reporter,

As Congress party continues to deliberate on list of Assembly candidates, heads of various cells of Congress party are also lobbying hard to realise their dream of getting assembly ticket for themselves. Some of them are even making detour of Delhi in this regard.

Sources said that NSUI State President Vipin Wankhedi’s name is doing round for assembly ticket in Congress. Along with this, Mahila Morcha State President Mandavi Chouhan is dreaming to contest election from Govindpura or Narela seat. Likewise, Youth Congress State President Kunal Chaudhary is flexing his muscles to get ticket from Kalapeepal assembly seat. Hence, it’s not the established leaders who alone are in race of tickets.

Apart from this, there is a section of active youths in Congress which is also actively trying to move its name forward for tickets. Active youths in Congress are hopeful that Rahul Gandhi will give tickets to youths also as he too is a young leader.

In the meantime, currently big leaders of Congress are doing brainstorming meetings in Delhi to release the first list of Assembly candidates. This list will have more than 40 names.
Earlier, it was expected that Congress would be releasing its first list of Assembly candidates by September end but it could not happen. Later, Congress gave indications that first list of candidates could be released during Navratri but once again deadline passed away. Now it is being said that Congress has almost finalised names of assembly candidates for first list and list could be released any time. But with every passing day, wait for first list of candidates is growing. The first list of candidates will contain names for those Assembly seats which Congress lost by huge margin in last elections.
