Staff Reporter,

Political activities have reached to climax in Madhya Pradesh. Both major parties BJP and Congress are doing brain storm sessions to finalise the names of Assembly candidates. In comparison to Congress, BJP office is witnessing wave of visitors as BJP workers and leaders continue to do strength show to stake their claim for tickets. Sometimes, even there is protest against sitting MLAs.

On Friday, several BJP workers from Rajgarh reached BJP office and started demanding new face for Rajgarh Assembly seat. They raised slogans to attract the attention of party by saying that it’s time to give ticket to new face. Rajgarh Assembly seat is represented by BJP leader Amar Singh Yadav. The protest done by bunch of BJP workers from Rajgarh indicates that there is resentment against local BJP MLA Amar Singh Yadav.

Moreover, ticket seekers continue to visit BJP office along with their supporters. For instance, supporters of BJP leader from Mahidpur (Ujjain) Assembly constituency, Umraosingh Chouhan reached BJP office and demanded assembly ticket to him. They were carrying placards on which photo of Umraosingh Chouhan was printed.

In the meantime, BJP workers were surprised when all of a sudden Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached BJP office. They besieged him. Many of them also staked claim for tickets before him. Likewise, BJP National Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya also went to BJP office and he too was besieged by BJP workers. Some of them even handed over their biodata to him. Notably, seeing the influx of visitors, particularly ticket seekers, police have tightened security arrangements at BJP headquarters.
