Staff Reporter,

My Marathi Film Festival, the most awaited week-long event for Marathi movie lovers of Nagpur, was inaugurated on Friday at Panchasheel Talkies. Renowned Marathi actor Reena Aggarwal was the chief guest of the inaugural session.

Nirzar Cine Club has organised the Marathi film festival after a gap of six years. In the previous edition, Nagpurians had an opportunity to enjoy Marathi movies under the same roof.

“Marathi film industry makes 200 movies every year but only 20 movies are screened in the city like Nagpur, which is a matter of concern. Nirzar should be appreciated for its efforts to provide a platform for screening Marathi movies for the local people,” said Reena Aggarwal during the
inaugural event.

Reena Aggrawal’s recent movie ‘31 Divas’ also will be screened during the festival. She has appealed citizens to encash this opportunity.
