The Hitavada State Bureau,

Dornapal/Raipur,

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh who kick-started the Bharatiya Janata Party’s election campaign on Saturday from Sukma district, said Congress had never imagined the development which has taken place in the district. Calling upon the people of Sukma to elect BJP candidate Dhaniram Barse from Konta Assembly segment, the Chief Minister said if they do so, then the district will see four times the development which has taken place now.

Adding that he’s not here to count the development works undertaken by his government but it is a fact that the opposition Congress is unable to digest the development which had taken place in Sukma despite the district being hit severely from Left Wing Extremism. The Congress has never imagined in their wildest dream such development can take place in Sukma. He said huge change has taken place in the field of academics and medical care. He said during 2005, the Maoists used to blow up schools, bridges, cut down roads and there was an environment of lack of awareness. The journey from 2005 to 2018 had been difficult despite which the complete facet of Sukma has changed today.

He said he’s here to seek the blessings of people and urged them to ensure Dhaniram Barse’s win by a huge margin and then see the development here. The Chief Minister said the commencement of Mission 65 plus campaign is being initiated from Dornapal in Konta district today and seeing the enthusiasm and energy of the party workers here, he’s sure that BJP will surely win by huge margin. Earlier, BJP candidate used to loose elections by a thin margin but this time seeing the development works he’s sure that the people will vote in favour of the party as it has been successful in creating trust among the people. It is worth mentioning here that Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh initiated his election campaign from Bastar today. The aggressive campaign for the first phase and second phase of elections in Chhattisgarh is being led by the Chief Minister.

Accordingly on Saturday, the Chief Minister addressed mega public meetings at Dornapal under Konta Assembly segment, Geedam under Dantewada Assembly segment, Bagmohlai under Bastar and Madlapal under Narainpur Assembly segments on Saturday.

Ahead of leaving for Dornapal, the Chief Minister while talking to mediapersons here in helipad said as usual he’ll commence his election campaign after seeking blessings from Maa Danteshwari at Dantewada. He informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing a mega public meeting on October 9 in Jagdalpur while BJP National President Amit Shah will be spending five days in Chhattisgarh. He said we’re very confident this time and our best works have been initiated from Sukma. He said his message on Bastar will revolve around peace and development in next five years.

As per schedule of election campaigning of Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh on Sunday, he will leave by private helicopter for Bijapur under Kondagaon Assembly segment where he’ll be addressing public meeting at 11.30am.
