Five country-made pistols and ten live cartridges from him in Patan

Special Task Force (STF), Jabalpur team nabbed an accused involved in illegal trade of firearms and seized five country-made pistols and ten live cartridges from him in Patan, on Saturday.  The accused has been identified as Bablu alias Babu Singh Lodhi, son of Shivraj Singh  Lodhi, a resident of village Kakraiya (Udna) in Patan.


STF, Jabalpur, Inspector, Hariom Dixit informed that acting on a tip-off, a combine team of STF and Patan police under the direction of STF In-charge and SHO of Patan police station, raided the residence of suspected man and seized five country-made pistols and ten live cartridges from his residence.


Panan police have registered a case under Section 25, 27 of the Arms Act while further investigations are underway.
The accused was arrested by STF team comprised of ASI, Raghuveer Singh, Constables, Nirmal Singh, Chatrapal Singh, Manish Tiwari, Neelesh Dubey, Lekhan Singh, Harsh Vardhan, Naresh and Narayan Singh.
