CM exhorts youth to make MP a prosperous state

CHIEF Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan urged youths to actively take part in development works and turn Madhya Pradesh into a prosperous State. Earlier, youths have taken part to shape Madhya Pradesh and now they must give suggestions to make the State a prosperous one. Chouhan was addressing Bharatiya Janata Party’s Yuva Town Hall programme organised at Muktakash Manch of Ravindra Bhawan in Bhopal on Sunday.

The programme was broadcast live in all 230 Assembly seats of State. Chouhan said that youths have the passion, energy, fire in their belly so they must see dreams and leave no stone unturned to achieve them because they can fulfill the dreams,” he added.

He categorically mentioned names of great personalities like Swami Vivekanand, Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Rani Laxmibai, Sukhiram Bose, Madan Lal Dingra, Atal Behari Vajpayee, PM Narendra Modi and others who started at a young age and brought a transformation through their works.

Interestingly, he also shared his experiences with youths and won applause from the gathering. On the occasion, he criticised the Congress by telling that before 2003, the State was a Bimaru state. But BJP Government made it a developing State and now it is committed to make it a prosperous state. Unemployment issue also has been addressed to a great extent. He urged youths to develop passion among themselves and become role model for others.

“Youths have a vision and they should give ideas to BJP Government and if their ideas are impressive then they will be implemented,” he assured.
He further said that during Congress Government people used potholes to commute. BJP Government has constructed 1.5 lakh kilometer long roads in State and did overall development of the State. Earlier, Chambal area used to remain abuzz with gunshots of bandits but now the dacoit menace has been solved. During Congress regime, State’s irrigation area was just 7.5 lakh hectare, but BJP Government increased it to 41 lakh hectare. The target is to take it to 80 lakh hectare.

At the end, college students rushed to have a selfie with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. On the occasion, BJYM State President Akhilesh Pandey, BJP State President Rakesh Singh, BJP General Secretary Vishnudutt Sharma, District President Surendra Nath Singh, BJP Organisational General Secretary Suhas Bhagat, Minister Umashankar Gupta, Minister of State Vishwas Sarang, BJP Vice-President Vijesh Lunawat, Mayor Alok Sharma, MP Alok Sanjar, ex-Mayor Krishna Gaur, Bhagwandas Sabnani and others were present.
