Deploy nurse at Bhidki PHC, demands MPCTGEA

A memorandum of demand was handed over to CMHO Dr MM Agrawal by a delegation of MP Class Three Government Employees (MPCTGEA) Jabalpur Branch demanding deployment of staff nurse and ANM at primary health centre (PHC) operational at Bhidki. At present juncture due to proven apathy of staffers large number of indisposed who visit the hospital are denied treatment for want of adequate staff.

According to information, the apparent dearth of medical staff at primary health center operational at Bhidki has proved troublesome for large number of people residing around Bhidki area. The delegation while holding talks with CMHO Dr MM Agrawal informed that present at the CHC the work is being carried out by one nurse and one LHV. Due to apparent of dearth of staffers at the CHC the health center fails to remains operational for 24 hours duration.
As the staffers working for the CHC move out after their shift get over. And also that the CHC has no security arrangements has made the medical staff highly fearful.

As Alok Agnihotri President of District Health Samiti of MP Class Three Employees Association informed that with existing staffers deployed for the health center, people from the region are denied optimal medical services from the CHC. The delegation at the time of submission of memorandum supplicated before CMHO Dr MM Agrawal that in order to ensure that the CHC provides optimal medical service deployment of 2 nurse and 2 ANM is mandatory. As this would enable the health center to remain operational for 24 hour duration. Also the fact the several accidents have occurred over the month and due to proven dearth of medical staff at the CHC emergency treatment to the injured person is denied. The employees association has also demanded deployment of security staffers at the CHC as due to absence of security staff the existing staffers have been victim of fear of being intimidated by miscreants in the region.

In view of memorandum of demanded it is informed that CMHO has assured the delegation of early attention to the demand made in the memorandum. Among the members and office bearers of employees association present were Yogendra Dubey, Alok Agnihotri, Brajesh Mishra, Avarendra Rajput, Parshuram Tiwari, SP Bathrey, Ritu Uikey, Pushpa Chouksey and others.
