Cultural fiesta ‘Tarang’ at IIITDM from 5th

“PANDIT Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur (PDPM IIITDM) is back with annual cultural festival ‘Tarang’,” informed Utkarsh Dongre, Head of Core team member ‘Tarang’. Dongre was addressing a press conference on Wednesday to inform about ‘Tarang’ to be organised at PDPM IIITDM surrounded by nature’s beauty Dumna Nature Reserve. The event will be held in IIITDM Jabalpur from October 5 to 7 with a boost of energy and enthuse.

Dongre added that along with technical field, students from non-technical ground also invited to participate in 26 different competitions to be organised under five domains of the event.
He further informed that with its beginning in 2006, Tarang has consistently been a splendid cultural festival and well known since past few years. Novel and once-in-a lifetime experiences await participants this yeta too.

Earlier, bands such as Sunburn, Agnee, Shilpa Rao, Aryans, Hard Kaur and Jal have given splendid performances.
Students and enthusiasts from far reaching cities of the country and beyond will join the festival this weekend. Huge participation is expected during the three-day fiesta. Participants will face a tough competition in different events including street plays, Aaveg-the Band War, Jhankaar-Group Dance, The Great Debate and Art Marathon among others.

The excitement and zing will not set with the sun as evenings will be grander than days with three consecutive prof-nights throughout the festival. The tranquil forest of Dumna will become resonant with thousands of steps and enthralling waves of ‘Tarang’. ‘An Escapade into the wild’ is sponsored by many mega organisations such as T.I.M.E., Indian Oil, GrabOn, Zebronics, Servo, The College Fever, SBI, LIC, Freezo and Dean, Dr Prashant K Jain, Cultural Co-ordinator, Dr Singh and other staff members were also present.
