The Hitavada State Bureau,

Coming down heavily on the opposition Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party National President Amit Shah said, “In Chhattisgarh the BJP will be contesting elections under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh but whom does the Indian National Congress intend to project as leader, persons who shamefully distributes CDs and manufacture fake CDs with an objective of character assassination.”

The BJP National President, who was on his maiden visit to Bastar region, said to AICC President, “Rahul Baba, you are proceeding with a leader who’s allegedly indulged in character assassination through fake CDs, for seeking mandate from the people of Chhattisgarh, leave alone other things, our mothers and sisters here are waiting for settling their scores on these CD issues.” While adding that the BJP is never indulged in cunning politics, he said that the BJP always does politics of development and politics of character. What kind of leadership is the Congress projecting, which instead of doing politics of development, is indulged in distribution and manufacturing of fake CDs.

BJP National President Amit Shah and Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh participated in the ‘Tendu-patta Bonus Tihaar’ and Adivasi Sammelan at Narharpur development block under Kanker district (North Bastar). During the occasion, which was marked as the culmination of the month-long Atal Vikas Yatra, both the leaders distributed Rs 18.91 crore as bonus to 31,457 tendu-patta collectors apart from dedicating and laying foundation stones for 20 development works worth Rs 22.39 crore. Also materials and financial assistance worth Rs 1.77 crore were distributed among 4,600 beneficiaries.

The BJP National President said that people in Chhattisgarh have two options, one option is Congress which despite giving slogan of Garibi Hatao, has done nothing in this direction in last 55 years, on the other the Bharatiya Janata Party which without giving any slogans have worked silently for the empowerment and upliftment of poor by providing them houses under PM Urban/Rural Housing Scheme, electrifying the houses of poor, subsidizes ration, free LPG connections and distribution of over Rs 4000 crore as tendu-patta bonus. The Congress today is a leaderless, policy-less party which is functioning without any principals and wants to come to power by distributing CDs.

On the other, the BJP governments led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh had converted a bimaru state of Chhattisgarh into a fast developing state. But without stopping here the BJP government under Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has given a resolution of building Nava Chhattisgarh by 2025 and have come before the people for seeking support and blessings. Now the ball is on the court of people where they have to decide what type of government they want.

The BJP National President said that the Atal Vikas Yatra is culminating at a place which had been known for its piousness and being their place of worship and ‘Tapobhumi’ for saints and rishis. This Yatra is culminating here after covering 11,000 kms. There are very few Chief Ministers who have the guts to launch public contact programme in all Assembly segments while covering a distance of 11,000 kms, that too after being in power for 15 years. There are very few leaders who have such kind of guts. He reiterated that he has no hesitation to state that Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has effortlessly worked for the building and development of Chhattisgarh.

The BJP National President while accusing the Congress of having unholy allegiance with the Maoists for remaining in power, said that Chhattisgarh was a place where the sounds of bullets echoed throughout the forested zone. Without hesitation he can state that earlier Congress government had colluded with Maoists after this BJP government took reins of power the nexus was cracked down. Now the entire Chhattisgarh is gradually getting rid of Left Wing Extremism and fast moving ahead towards development, he added.

AMit Shah said that former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee had founded the state and Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has developed it. The Chief Minister has ensured 24 hours power supply in every villages, road connectivity has reached to interior villages, purchasing minor forest produce on MSP and many more development works have been done during his three term, he said. Shah also challenged Congress to have dialogue at any forum comparing the development carried out by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh’s government in last 15 years and four years of PM Modi rule in centre with the 55 years rule of Congress.

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh also addressed the august gathering. Giving a detailed picture of the development works carried out by his government in 15 years, focusing on rail connectivity, internet connectivity, road connectivity, food security, women empowerment, etc. He said the development people are seeing today is just a beginning and much more to come and in next five years if he forms the government, the development will be five times.

Kaushik flays Baghel over statement against Amit Shah

Staff Reporter,

Condemning CPCC President Bhupesh Baghel for his statement against Bharatiya Janata Party National President Amit Shah, BJP State President Dharamlal Kaushik said the CPCC President doesn’t have a standing to teach Shah a lesson on women’s deference. It is worth mentioning here that the CPCC President in a statement against BJP National President Amit Shah, had termed him as anti-women citing his alleged involvement in engaging police to put a young woman under illegal surveillance.

The BJP State President said that the CPCC President who is charged of distributing fake Sex CD and conducting sting and making CD of his own party’s state in charge, doesn’t have the moral right to comment on BJP how to respect women. Kaushik said that it is the Congress which has already shown its character where it has played with the pride and life of women like Jessica Lal, Priyadarshini Mattu, Naina Sahni cases are all blaring evidences. In all these cases Congress leaders were involved, said Kaushik. Recently the Delhi government had rejected an application of early release of these people.

Kaushik further highlighted the case of sexual harassment registered against NSUI National President by a NSUI member from Chhattisgarh. He asked the CPCC President to first bring his own house in order and then point fingers on others.

The BJP State President said that Bharatiya Janata Party has several schemes for empowering and uplifting women. Distributing smart-phones under SKY, ‘beti bachao-beti padhao’, ‘Noni Suraska Yojna’, ration cards in the name of women, etc are some of the schemes which have enabled empowerment of women in the state. The BJP is the party which had given 50 percent reservation in 3-tier Panchayati Raj Institutions and 33 percent reservation in its party organisation. After doing this much for the sake of women, the BJP is today claiming freedom and respect for women.
