RMC to take strict actions against stickers, banners on public property

The centralised team of Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) is now going to take strict action on individuals and organisations who are indulged in activities of putting stickers, banners and posters on government buildings roads and public property.


On the directions from RMC Commissioner Rajat Bansal, there are going to be strict penalties enforced if anybody defaces the beauty and cleanliness of the city. The central team and the concerned zone officials have made a concrete plan of how to take strict action against the individuals indulged in this act even a provision of lodging and FIR is also been prepared. In this regard Bansal shall hold a meeting on October 9 with all the owners of the printing press based out in Raipur.


It needs to be mentioned here that by the help of many NGO’s and groups phased wised cleanliness and beatification campaigns are been operated by Raipur smart city limited which are also been recognised on a national level.
By various elements for publicity purpose many road dividers, government building are been seen covered with full of stickers and flexed signboards.


While expressing serious and strict concern over the issue Commissioner Bansal has directed the central teams to stop such activities as soon as possible and lodge penalties on the individuals and organisations indulged. Today many teams in phased manner reached many places of Raipur and cleaned the Banners and posters.


Heading the anti-encroachment team Aabhas Mishra has appealed that kindly do not entertain such individuals or organisation to harm the beauty of your house and surroundings. If anyone finds such elements in their area, an individual can lodge a complaint to the central team, Corporaters, zone offices and police stations also.
