Dr Togadia announces march from Lucknow to Ayodhya for Ram temple

Dr Pravin Togadia, former VHP leader and chief of his newly formed outfit Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP), on Sunday announced that he would lead a march from Lucknow to Ayodhya from October 21, if the Centre failed to bring the ordinance to build a Ram Temple at Ayodhya.

Dr. Togadia was in the city to address a meeting of AHP workers at the Mahatma Fule Sanskritik Bhavan, Reshimbagh. He hit out at PM Narendra Modi and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat for not fulfilling the promise of building Ram Temple in Ayodhya in last four years. “On the issue of the SC/ST Act, PM Modi says parliament will decide it and when it comes to building the Ram Temple, Modi says the courts will decide,” he said. Thousands of Hindus sacrificed during Ram temple movement on the call of RSS, however after voted to power the top leaders of the BJP and RSS are not pursuing the demand, he alleged while asserting that “RSS's Swayamsevaks and BJP workers want the temple to be constructed without any delay,” he opined while asking RSS chief to take lead. He also announced his support to Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray for Hindutva politics if the latter decides to contest election across the country. Kishore Dikondawar, Motilal Choudhary, Vickey Pandey, Anup Jaiswal were present at the
press conference.
