The Member Secretary of State Authority, Vijay Chandra provided guidance to District Legal Assistance officers on effective execution of schemes being conducted by State Authority

The Madhya Pradesh Legal Service Authority (MPLSA) conducted a day’s training programme on Saturday with objective of achieving the target of ‘Justice for All’.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Chief Justice Hemant Gupta, Patron MP State Legal Service Authority and honourable Justice S K Seth, Administrative Judge, Madhya Pradesh High Court and Executive President, Madhya Pradesh State Legal Service Authority, Jabalpur.'


The Director, Rajya Nyayik Academy, Sanjeev Kalgaonkar was chief guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Sanjeev Kalgaonkar threw light on the role and responsibilities of District Legal Assistant officers as district authorities.


The Member Secretary of State Authority, Vijay Chandra provided guidance to District Legal Assistance officers on effective execution of schemes being conducted by State Authority and also, about the targets to be achieved by State Authority in future. Honourable High Court, through different decisions, has give key role to play towards destitute widows, boys, UTP Pratikar Adhiniyam, etc. related issues. The redressal of increasing number of cases in honourable court and alternative measures to provide justice to people like Lok Adalat and mediation, etc. have made the role of State Authority more important and accountable. The Member Secretary instructed proper publicity of State Legal Service Authority-run schemes. The Deputy Secretary Dharmendra Kumar Singh and District Legal Service Authority, Jabalpur’s Secretary Sharad Bhamkar addressed the participants. Senior District Legal Assistance Officer S P Pandey elaborated the different aspects of the legal assistance. Besides, he also clarified the effective role of the media in proper publicity of legal assistance. Heeralal Gupta gave elaborate information about financial rules.


A total 48 District Legal Assistant officers along with Deputy Secretary of Madhya Pradesh Legal Service Authority Dharmendra Kumar Singh and Arvind Shrivastava, Legal Assistance Officer, Rajesh Saxena and Manesh Kaushik and many others from MP State Legal Service Authority participated in the training programme conducted on Saturday.
