Rlys announces spl trains to tackle festive rush

Concerned over the huge rush of passengers in regular trains, Railways has announced several special trains to cope up with the long waiting of reservation.
Railways officials said rush of passengers started in trains as people are going towards their home town to celebrate Diwali and Chhath festival. There is ‘no room’ condition in most of the trains as passengers have confirmed their reservation four months back. Railways has started eight special trains from Bhopal, Habibganj and Itarsi stations.


As per schedule for Mumbai, there is special train departing Gorakhpur station on every Saturday at 8:25 am and arriving Bhopal at 11:25 pm the same day. The train will be arriving CST Mumbai next day at 12:15 hours. The train will be continuing till November Gorakhpur, CSTM Mumbai will be departing on every Sunday at 2:20 hours and arriving Bhopal at 3:25 on Monday. The train will be arriving Gorakhpur on the same day at 6:45 hours. For Chhath Puja, special trains will be running from Habibganj to Patna on November 8, 11, 16 and 19.


Train no 01657/01658 Habibganj-Patna special will be taking total 8 trips in both directions. The train will take halt at Hoshangabad, Itarsi, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Chiwki, Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Jt, Buxar, Aara, Danapur and Patna stations. There will be one AC-II, two AC-III, eight sleeper, six general and 2 SLR coaches.


Train no 01115/01116 LTT Terminus-Gorakhpur-LTT will be running from November 3 to 18 in both directions. The train will be taking halt at Itarsi,. Jabalpur, Katani and Satna stations. There will be one AC-II, one AC-III, 13 sleeper, two general and two SLR coaches.


Train no 01087/01088 LTT terminus-Manduadih-LTT will be running from November 7 to 22 in both directions.
The train will take halt at Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna and Manduadih. There will be one AC-II, one AC-III, 13 sleeper, two general and 2 SLR coaches.
