Drive against persisting mosquito menace continues spraying in 4 municipal wards carry out

Continuing with intensive drive against persisting mosquito menace spray of pesticides in four municipal wards of zone number 9 and six municipal wards of zone number 11 were carried out on Friday. The special combat move against mosquitoes is being carried out in view of directives issued by JMC Commissioner Chandramauli Shukla. Reportedly, a team of JMC comprising of some 50 members have taken up the responsibility to disinfect all drains and streets in various colonies to provide relief to denizens against present spell of mosquito menace.

According to information, the JMC having taken gravity of mosquito menace that has been responsible for large bed occupancy in private and government hospital people suffering on account of dengue, malaria and other fever arising out of breeding of mosquitoes. Intensive drive to make to drains nullahs and streets across municipal jurisdiction are being carried at war footing level.

About the rigorous drive started by the JMC it is informed, that men from sanitation department carried out large scale cleanliness and spray of chemicals and pesticides. In four municipal wards of zone number 9 and six municipal wards of zone number 11. The colonies disinfected by virtue of spray of chemicals denizens have been issued word of caution to ensure optimal precaution against the disinfect process. Also that citizens are being asked to maintain necessary alert to stop any breeding of mosquitoes.

Rakesh Aychai Deputy Commissioner Health Department JMC and GS Chandel health officer JMC informed, that under the special drive carried out the JMC team comprising of 50 employees ventured in four municipal wards of zone number 9 and six municipal wards of zone number 11.

As JMC Commissioner Chandramauli Shukla informed that the disinfect move started by the municipal corporation have proved conducive as under the mega drive mosquitoes are being destroyed considerably has brought the much needed respite to citizens. They informed that special mega drive against mosquitoes would continue uninterrupted till we attain optimal result of drive. Under the drive taken up apart from spray of chemical smoke emitting machine has also been pressed in service after dusk.

The team of JMC sanitation and health department comprised of Anil Jain Assistant Health Officer, Chief Health Inspector Pola Rao, Sunil Gujrati, Arjun Yadav, Kaluram Solanki, Dharmendra Raj, Santosh Gaur, Anil Mishra, Anand Rao and other personally supervised during the disinfect move.
