Alok Agrawal files nomination from Bhopal South West seat

State President of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and party’s chief ministerial candidate Alok Agrawal has filed nomination from the Bhopal South-West Assembly constituency on Saturday. On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and AAP General Secretary Pankaj Singh and others including candidates Faraj Khan (Bhopal Central), Reena Saxena (Huzur), Rehan Jafri (Narela), Manoj Pal (Govindpura) and Shivnarine Ahirwar (Bairasia) were also present. Prior to the filing of nomination a rally was organised from Ambedkar Maidan (Tulsi Nagar) to Gandhi Bhawan (Polytechnic Square) in which party workers and common people participated.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that the Aam Aadmi Party has declared its candidate in 192 seats and the process of enrollment is also going on and new members are joining the party. On the other hand, there is a dispute in the BJP and Congress on the names so far and struggle is going on where as the Aam Aadmi Party has gone far ahead of these parties through the door to door and booth level campaign which people have liked. He said that in Madhya Pradesh, the Aam Aadmi Party has taken many campaigns which include issues related with electricity, the farmers issue, the water satyagraha of tribals etc.

Through these movements, the Aam Aadmi Party has made its credibility and penetration among the people. We therefore have full faith that the Aam Aadmi Party will register its strong presence in the forthcoming assembly elections. On this occasion Alok Agrawal said that The Aam Aadmi Party believes that present of politics has eroded constitutional values and the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi have been ignored. The Aam Aadmi Party is contesting this election with the determination to protect the constitution and strengthen Gandhi’s values. Pankaj Singh said that the Aam Aadmi Party is focusing on issues of commoners which includes electricity, water, education, health, roads, food, employment etc. Other party workers including Manoj Pal, candidate of Berasiya, Naresh Dangi, Arvind Sharma, Munna Singh etc were present.
