Election campaigns carried out in 10 villages

Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Speaker and Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Kasdol Assembly segment Gaurishankar Agrawal carried out election campaigning in 10 villages on Saturday in his Assembly constituency.

Gaurishankar Agrawal today visited ten villages under Kasdol Assembly segment including Deorikhurd, Deorikala, Mudiyadih, Sinodha, Bhadra, Chechar, Pikri, Mudpaar, Sarwa and Baijnath and held extensive election campaign. On the occasion Gaurishankar Agrawal carried out door-to-door contact with the residents and sought their blessings.

Addressing the villagers Agrawal said the Bharatiya Janata Party government is committed towards the welfare of village, villagers and farmers. Urging them to elect the most eligible candidate from the constituency he said the State Government has distributed smart phones to women under SKY scheme with an objective to empower them.

The BJP Government has hiked the MSP for paddy and coupled with bonus of Rs 300 per quintal, a farmer will be getting Rs 2050 or Rs 2070 per quintal depending on the quality of paddy. He said under the PM Housing Scheme, those who have registered are being provided financial assistance for building houses. He also spoke about various development works undertaken in the constituency.


Present on the occasion were Padmashri Anuj Sharma, who also addressed the villagers. Others who were present include Rajkumar Sahu, Bhikham Kaiwartya, Bharati Bala, Vinita Dubey, Anil Srivas, Ganesh Sahu, Hitesh Ratre, etc.
