The Hitavada State Bureau,

Ambagarh-Chauki/Raipur,

Asserting that revolution doesn’t take place through Left Wing Extremism but it comes through development, Bharatiya Janata Party National President Amit Shah said revolution comes by obliterating poor man’s hunger, which Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has achieved here.
Addressing a huge gathering at Ambagarh-Chauki under the Khujji Assembly constituency in Rajnandgaon district on Sunday, BJP National President asked the AICC President to clarify his stand on Left Wing Extremism.

Referring to Congress leader Raj Babbar’s statement which he had made at Bilaspur on Saturday, the BJP National President said the Congress which is supporting Left Wing Extremism by substantiating it as revolution, should understand that revolution does not come through acts of violence or by bullets or bombs. Revolution comes when we indulge in white revolution, when rice and salt is distributed among poor at subsidized price, revolution comes when farmers who toil hard in scorching heat, get good returns against their produce, both of which has been accomplished by Dr Raman Singh led BJP government here.

The BJP National President, who was here in Khujji for canvassing in favour BJP candidate Hirendra Sahu, said when NDA government led by PM Narendra Modi launch schemes like Ayushman Bharat Yojna, which provides complete medical care to poor up to Rs 5 lakh per annum, then comes revolution. When the true value of their farm produce is received by farmers after removing middlemen, then a farmer celebrates proper Diwali and thus emerges a revolution. Congress sees Naxalism as revolution while the Bharatiya Janata Party terms development and upliftment as revolution. Calling upon the people to decide as to what kind of government they want, a Congress government which terms Naxalism as revolution or a Bharatiya Janata Government which ensures inclusive development and terms it as revolution. He added that the people very well know how much they can trust Congress, hence people should turnout in large numbers to exercise their franchise and vote in favour of Bharatiya Janata Party.

Praising the achievements of Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, the BJP National President said in these 15 years the Dr Raman Singh led BJP government has worked wonders in Chhattisgarh. From a bimaru state, Dr Singh through his sheer hard work and able governance has been able to take the state to the pinnacle where it is rubbing shoulders with best developed states. Chhattisgarh is the only state in the country where the annual budget has risen to Rs 92,125 crore from Rs 9000 in 15 years. Chhattisgarh which used to produce merely 4000MW power, is generating 22,600 MW power. The per capita income has rose to Rs 92,000 from Rs 13,000 in these years.

The BJP President said the AICC President can’t see development as he is habituate to see darkness and underdeveloped areas. He said “Rahul Baba during UPA tenure, Chhattisgarh was under the grip of Left Wing Extemism and it was Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, who while putting his life at stake, not only eradicated Maoists from 90 percent areas of the state but at the same time gradually carried out development in LWE affected areas. Today, Chhattisgarh has become a power hub, aluminum hub, cement hub, one of the biggest producer of steel, is now planning to take its stride towards Nava Chhattisgarh, wherein, the state will become prosperous and one of the most developed states in the country. However for achieving the same, people have to give Bharatiya Janata Party another chance so that dream of Nava Chhattisgarh can be achieved.

Taking a dig at AICC President Rahul Gandhi over his visit to the state, the BJP National President said Rahul Baba considers Chhattisgarh as a tourist spot and comes here for a picnic. He said recently Rahul baba had claimed that if his government is elected, he will ensure ‘Made in Chhattisgarh’ initiative. The BJP National President asked UPA was in power for over 55 years from Panchayat to Parliament but Chhattisgarh was bimaru state till BJP came in power here. Today, handicraft items made by tribal women are being sold at airports as well as abroad through the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he added. The BJP National President, who was on a day long visit to Chhattisgarh, also addressed public meetings at Sadak Atria under Khairagarh Assembly constituency and at Kondagaon Assembly constituency while campaigning for Komal Janghel and Lata Usendi respectively.
