Ravindra Boratkar is new President of MEDC

RAVINDRA Boratkar has been elected as President of MEDC. He was elected at 57th annual general meting (AGM) of Maharashtra Economic Development Council (MECD). Meenal Mohadikar and Mukund Kulkarni were elected as vice-presidents. Chandrakant Sadadekar has been elected as the new Vice-President on the new Government Board. Cdr Dipak Naik is the Immediate Past President and N K Kagliwal, former President will be on the new governing board to extend valuable guidance.

Representatives from Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agricultural (CMIA) and Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) were present at the meeting. Boratkar is the Chairman of the Central India Multipurpose Consumer Co-operative Society which runs Purti Super Bazar. He is the President of Agro Vision Foundation. Boratkar is the Managing Director of MM Activ Sci Tech Communications Pvt. Ltd and Asian Conventions and Expositions Pvt Ltd.

Hemant Gandhi, President of Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce and Sanjay Agrawal, Secretary proposed the name of Boratkar for the President’s post. People from trade and industry congratulated Ravindra Boratkar.
