St Aloysius College holds plantation drive

Plantation programme of roses and seasonal flowers was organised by the students of B Sc first year Botany and members of Nature Club of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) on Saturday. The students participated in this eco-friendly move with an objective of increasing and maintaining greenery in the campus. More than ninety students participated in this event with great enthusiasm.


The students had articulated with beautiful rose and ornamental plants of different colours in the college campus. Principal, Dr G Vazhan Arasu and Vice-Principal, Ben Anton Rose were present in the programme and appreciated the efforts of students and faculty members. The programme was organised under the supervision and guidance of Dr Shikha Bansal, Head of Botany Department, co-ordinated by Dr Sonali Nigam, Dr Femina Sobin, Dr Mamta Gokhale, R4oshni Choubey, Dr. Juhi Sharma, Dr Ruchi Hidau and others.
