Staff Reporter,

Former Chief Minister of Haryana Bhupendra Singh Hudda said that situation of farmers is pathetic in Madhya Pradesh. They have to run from pillar to post to get proper price of agriculture produce. What is a matter of concern is this that bullets are sprayed on their chest for demanding reasonable prices of crops.

Bhupendra Singh Hudda was addressing press conference in state capital on Monday. Taking on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, he said that CM grows flowers and pomegranate and reaps benefit of crores of rupees. He does not need any support price, mandis to sell produce etc. There is no farmer in State whose cow milk is being sold at Rs 60 per liter. But CM sells milk at Rs 60 per liter.

Taking on PM Narendra Modi on target for giving support price on six crops, he told that farming is not becoming beneficial rather it is becoming a loss making business.
He alleged that Modi Government did not fix support price in sync with recommendations of Swaminathan report. He said Modi government made tall claims that government is giving 50 per cent more price then the cost of production to farmers but this is mere an eye wash.

He said farmers are getting less price then market price for rabi and kharif crops. He repeated the old claims of Congress that scam of Rs 1100 crore has taken place in Madhya Pradesh in onion purchase work.
On this occasion, Congress Media In Charge Shobha Ojha, Congress Media Coordiniator Narendra Saluja etc were also present.
