‘Continue Jabalpur-Coimbatore special train even after Dec 31’

Jabalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), in a press release, demanded Railway Minister, Piyush Goyal to continue Jabalpur-Coimbatore special train after December 31, 2018 also as on December 31, the train would take its last round trip.


It may be mentioned that train no. 02198 Jabalpur-Coimbatore special train was started after demand of common commuters. It is the only train that covers the route of Jabalpur, Manmad, Outer Mumbai, Ratnagiri, Goa, Mangalore, Kozhikode, Coimbatore, Konkan and others.
West Central Railway has taken a decision of running special train with the permission of Zonal Railway Office and except Central Railway zone, it has got permission to move in all the zone.


As a result, train no. 02198 would take its last round on December 31. On the related issue, Chairman Prem Dubey informed that, this Jabalpur-Coimbatore special train not only connects many destinations, but also connects business of many people. This train is very beneficial for textile businessmen. Hence, chamber members, including Kamal Grover, Narinder Pandhe, Rajneesh Trivedi, Rakesh Choudhary, Ajay Bakhtawar, Deepak Jain, Shashikant Pandey and others have demanded Railway Minister Piyush Goyal to let the train continue, so that people can get benefit of this train.
