State Government promotes/ transfers 41 IFS officers

The State Government promoted three Additional Principal Chief Conservators of Forest (APCCFs) as Principal Chief Conservators of Forest (PCCFs) on Friday. They are among the 41 IFS officers promoted/transferred.

Nitin Kakodkar, (IFS 1987 batch), APCCF (Budget, Planning, Development), Nagpur, has been promoted as the PCCF (Wildlife), also called Chief Wildlife Warden, Maharashtra, replacing A K Misra, who will attain superannuation on January 31.

G Saiprakash, (IFS 1986 batch), APCCF and Nodal Officer, Nagpur, has now been promoted as PCCF (Budget).  Similarly, Praveen Srivastava, (IFS 1986 batch), APCCF (IT, Policy), Nagpur, has also been promoted as PCCF (Budget, Policy). They have been promoted to the post of PCCF as the government has granted in-situ promotion by upgrading their existing levels.

Dr Ravikiran Gowekar, Chief Conservator of Forest and Field Director, Pench Tiger Reserve, Nagpur, has been promoted as Chief Conservator of Forest. He will retain the post of Field Director at same place. 

M S Reddy, Chief Conservator of Forest and Field Director, Melghat Tiger Reserve, Amravati, has also been promoted as APCCF. He will retain the same post.  Dr V Clament Ben, CCF and Field Director, Sahyadri Tiger Reserve, has been transferred as CCF at Kolhapur.

Similarly, Sanjeev Gaur, CCF, Nagpur, has been promoted as APCCF and Nodal Officer in place of G Saiprakash. Kalyankumar, CCF (Budget), will replace Gaur.

M S Rao and Imtiala Aao, both on deputation to the Centre, will be the Chief General Mangers of Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra.

The following officers from Vidarbha also have been promoted. They are -- A S Kalaskar, S S Dahiwale, Poonam Vilas Pate, Kumarswami, Sumit Kumar, Sumant Solanke, Navalkishor Reddy and Divya Bharti.

The officers transferred are -- Mukul Trivedi, G Guruprasad, G P Narwane, Amlendu Pathak, Neenu Somraj, P H Badge, S D Vadhai, S B Fule, Tushar Chavan and G Madhavraj.
