MP Equestrian Academy players bag 16 medals

Madhya Pradesh Equestrian Academy players clinched nine medals including three gold medals, four silver medals and two bronze medals in Junior National Equestrian Competition played in Kolkata on Friday.

Madhya Pradesh Equestrian Academy players so far won 16 medals including five gold medals, seven silver and four bronze medals. On this achievement of the players of the Equestrian Academy, Director Sports and Youth Welfare Dr S L Thaosen expressed happiness and congratulated the medal winners.

In the competition, Academy’s player Pranay Khare won gold and a silver medal in the individual event of Young Rider Dressage under 16 to 21 years age group. Whereas, Pranay Khare and Akanksha Vishwakarma’s pair won gold medals in team event. Similarly, Sudipti Hajela and Ali Haqim’s pair clinched gold medal in the team event of Dressage.

Paridhi Joshi won silver medal and Sudipti Hajela won bronze medal in the individual event of Junior Dressage, whereas in team event, Paridhi Joshi and Adarsh Katiyar succeeded to clinch bronze medal.

Equestrian Raju Singh Bhadauria won silver medal in individual event and in team event, Raju Singh, Akshat Joshi and Shri Awasthi won bronze medal. These players are taking training under the guidance of Captain Bhagirath.
