The tigress was shifted to the park from Bandhavgarh during June 2017. Two days back, doctor observed that pulse of the tigress was almost zero. They immediately started treatment of the tigress and consulted the Dr Modi. The tigress was shifted to Van Vihar after rescuing from Bandhavgarh. At the time of translocation, tigress was injury in her neck.

A team of doctors including Dr Nitin Gupta from Van Vihar shifted the ailing tigress and suggested long term treatment as the gash in which wound was found was highly vulnerable as it was deep and critical. It was decided to leave the tigress in open jungle after treatment. The tigress is kept under strict observance of doctors and CCTV surveillance. However after few days of treatment tigress was doing well and also was taking her food.
