LIC Nagpur Divn outperformed in Western Region, says Jha

As the Nagpur Division of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) outperformed in the current financial year, A K Jha, Senior Divisional Manager, Nagpur, recently praised all the LIC agents for their contribution.
While speaking at the inaugural session of the mega training seminar organised here by the National Federation of LIC’s Development Officers, Jha said that various training programmes and other activities of the federation played vital role in the progress of the division.


Jha also congratulated the field force because of which Nagpur Division is ahead of its nearest rival by 75,000 policies.
Nagpur Division managed to collect premium of 2.25 lakh policies in January 2018 which I record of its kind in the Western Region of the Corporation.
Apart from this, it is the only Division of its size to have achieved it’s annual premium budget in the month of February.


Later on in the training session, Ranjan Nagarkatte, enlightened the agents on importance of financial planning and role of guarantee offered by LIC. He stressed on the need to educate masses on importance of long term savings and advocated that LIC plans are best suited for it.
According to him, LIC offers capital guarantee, decent tax free returns and tax breaks, which makes it a much better product in financial products available in the market in the
current scenario.


In the second session, LIC agents received motivation from a senior most trainer and motivator of India, T S Madan. He underlined the need to become a good human being in order to become a good insurance professional.


He educated agents on various life skills to propel themselves to next level of productivity. Deepak Moghe, General Secretary of National Federation, made the opening remarks while dignitaries were welcomed by Vinay Kusare, President of the Federation and Sujay Wankhede, Vice President. Entire office-bearers of the Division and members worked hard to make the programme a success. Vivek Pachkhede, Organising Secretary conducted the programme.
