Stop harassment of traders: NVCC to Rly

City based traders recently met senior officers of India Railways and raised various issues that are troubling them. The traders under the leadership of the Pratap Motwani, senior member of the Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) along with Ashvin Mehadia, Vice President, Sachin Punyani, Treasurer and others took up the issues with D K Sharma, General Manager - Central Railways.

“Traders are being harassed by the staff members of Railway Police Force (RPF) in Mumbai. The RPF men force the traders visiting Mumbai to open their bagage for no reason because of which they are facing hardship,” said Motwani. The traders also demanded the railway authorities to give stoppage to some of the important train at Nagpur station. Sharma assured the traders to look into the matter and to do the needful as early as possible. Brajesh Kumar Gupta, Divisional railway Manager, Trilok Kotharim ADRM, K K Mishra, Senior DCM, and others were also present on the occasion.
