Bihar clerk arrested for sending indecent posts to woman on FB

The State Cyber Cell police have arrested a 42-year-old clerk posted with Agriculture Department at Patna in Bihar for posting indecent messages over posts made by victim woman on her Facebook profile over Hindi literature. For this the accused used different Facebook accounts.
Police said that the victim used to receive indecent messages on Facebook and whenever she blocked the accused in order to stop receiving such messages, the accused created six different accounts and continued to comment on her Facebook profile.

The victim used to post related to Hindi literature over her Facebook profile and the accused Sunil Pandey was interested in Hindi literature, but later he started to post indecent messages. The victim block the profile after which the accused used to create a new profile and post messages from the newly-created Facebook profile.

Annoyed over the posts, victim lodged a complaint with the Cyber Cell. Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigations, the police registered a case under Section 67 and 67A of the IT Act and started further investigation.
During investigation it was found that the Facebook profiles were created and operated from Patna in Bihar. The accused was then tracked and finally nabbed by sleuths of Cyber Cell with the help of local police. It was found that the accused Sunil Pandey works with Agriculture Department as clerk.

Accused confessed that he used to follow victim’s post of Hindi literature and when he tried to talk with her over messenger, the victim blocked his profile which irked him and he started to post indecent messages by creating Facebook profiles. The accused created around half a dozen Facebook profiles one after other when his earlier profiles were blocked by the victim. It was also said that he used to abuse several girls on Facebook messenger when they didn’t send reply to his messages. The accused has been brought to Bhopal and would be taken on police remand to ascertain more details as it is supposed that more women would turn up at Cyber Cell with similar complaints against him.
