VIMS’s nursing students contribute massively in pulse-polio programme

STUDENTS including girls and boys belonging to Vikramaditya Institute of Medical Science-A, unit of Vikramaditya Group of Institutions extended their massive contribution in the first phase of National Pulse Polio Programme-2018 from January 28 to 30. These students under the direction of CMHO, Government Jai Prakash Hospital administered pulse polio drops to the children up to five years of age visiting door to door in ward number-45.

Students including girls and boys also administered polio drops to the children in trains at Habibganj Railway Station. Senior medical officer and staff of Civil Dispensary, 1,100 Quarters, head of the department of Vikramaditya Institute of Medical Science, Dr Vijay Kumar Shravan administered polio drops to the children. Vikramaditya Institute chairman Aditya Naroliya commended the social work of the students as well as the staff of J P Hospital, civil dispensary of 1,100 Quarters. He also said that the institute will always remain ready with commitment to extend voluntary services in the second phase of Pulse Polio campaign.
